Day 6/7 (2018 Summer Biketrip)
Intro: In the summer of 2018 (where scandinavia had 3 months of amazing hot & sunny weather) I rode my ebike 400 km in Denmark, Norway and Sweden in a total of 7 days. It was my very first bike trip and I learned a lot about this kind of adventure – I’ll never forget it!
Saturday 21st of July 2018 (6/7)
I woke up at 7.00 am and slowly started to pack up my camp. I was done packing up at 8.25 and began my adventure for the day.
At around 10.45 am I stopped at a nice looking church and visited the cementary to top up on some nice cool, free water.
I rode my bike for about 45 km until about 12.00 am. At this time I stopped for a long break to top up the battery on my bike. So I dismounted the solar panels and passed the time with reading some in my book and eating some quite sour apples from a tree.
even though I waited for 4 hours to 4.00 pm I only had managed to charge my battery on my bike to 4/5. To many clouds today for some effective charging.
At about 4 pm I mounted the solar panels back on the bike and began biking along. The weather had pick up a bit, it was now overcast and the wind was blowing head on. I biked another 2,5 hours until 6.30 pm in the head wind before it was time to find a good camping spot.
I found a nice private road going up and kinda backwards in a turn from where I came from. There where a ‘Private’ sign I ignored and pushed my bike up the road and found some forrest on the top I could push into. it was another great camp spot, totally invisible from the public road and the private one I cam from. Today I traveled 68,6 km.
