Day 7/7 (2018 Summer Biketrip)
Intro: In the summer of 2018 (where scandinavia had 3 months of amazing hot & sunny weather) I rode my ebike 400 km in Denmark, Norway and Sweden in a total of 7 days. It was my very first bike trip and I learned a lot about this kind of adventure – I’ll never forget it!
Sunday 22nd of July 2018 (7/7)
I woke up at 6.14 am and began packing up the camp. I was done at 7.30 am and then began the last stretch of the adventure.
Today it was overcast the entire day with only a few small gaps in the cloud for the sun to make it ways down to my hungry solar panels.
This meant that I had to stay in ‘Pas 0’ (no motor assistance) most of the day. It’s important for me to have a reserve of battery for steep inclines, overtakes etc…
I was getting closer to Göteborg, the town where the big ferry would sail me and my bike back west to my hometown, Frederikshavn, Denmark. Once I made it to Göteborg my travel was pretty much over in terms of battery and muscles in the legs.
The last 12 km down to the harbor was with plenty of motor assistance – I’ve earned it!
